Curriculum

As part of Thinking Schools Academy Trust, Kings Ash Academy aims to provide the highest quality educational experience for all groups of learners from age 2-11 during their early and primary years in education. This begins with secure foundations in English and mathematics and personal development.

Our curriculum is designed to be engaging, purposeful and relevant to the interests and needs of the Kings Ash community while building children’s cultural capital. Through a coherently planned and sequenced curriculum children build what they know and can do with increasing fluency and independence. It focuses on developing children’s understanding of real issues; raising self belief, aspiration and ambition in order to prepare children for the next stage of their education and beyond.
