Rachel and Phoebe (Year 5 & 2) have been extreme reading and looking very relaxed about it! Phoebe is reading Ricky’s Rat Gang by Anthony Masters which she loves and has read it many times. Rachel is reading Belle the Birthday Fairy by Daisy Meadows, another Rainbow Magic book which she always enjoys. “Great photo girls.”
Logan from Class: 3NF. Title of book: Harry Potter & the Philosopher’s Stone. Author: J. K. Rowling. Logan is liking this book so far. He’s just reading about where Harry is living with his Aunt & Uncle in a cupboard under the stairs.
Logan likes to read in our chicken run in the back garden & as you can see all our ladies like to gather round!!
Otis from Class: 3CP. Title of book: Charlie and the Great Glass Elevator. Author: Roald Dahl. Otis has just started reading this book but says the best bit so far is the elevator is rushing around the Earth in space at seventeen thousand miles an hour with all of Charlie’s family in it including the bed!!
Otis likes to read sometimes in with our chickens. Here he is holding ‘Bubba’ who seems to be enjoying the story! Ha!
Brook from Class: 5RD/SA. Title of book: Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. Author: J. K. Rowling. Brook has just reached Chapter Four – At Flourish & Blotts. She is enjoying this book so far & says the best bits are reading about Harry & his friends experiencing different gross foods, magic shops & potions. ‘Strawberry & peanut butter ice-cream & Potions for slug eating repellant’ in this chapter!!
