On Friday 23/1/2017, we celebrated diversity day. We started the day by exploring what diversity means to us before reading a class story all about diversity. We then wrote our own diary entries showing our understanding of diversity and how everyone may be different but we also have a lot in common. We then explored how we are unique and special by creating our own crayons to create the 5RD/SA crayon box which celebrates our differences. In the afternoon we then learnt about what it means to be special before choosing one of our peers and saying why they are special to us.
