Kensuke’s Kingdom

On Tuesday morning 5SS came on board the ‘Peggy Sue’. We sailed through stormy waters only to find ourselves shipwrecked!
This ‘hook’ will lead us into our talk 4 writing unit on ‘Kensuke’s Kingdom’ by Michael Morpurgo. Our ‘hook’ allowed us to really imagine what being aboard a yacht in the middle of the Ocean (during a storm) would be like. We will use the ideas we gathered to inform our writing.
