Children in Need at Kings Ash Academy

Children at Kings Ash Academy were fully engaged in activities during the day on Friday to support Children in Need.  Many children dressed up for the day and all the children made special spotty biscuits to sell at break time and lunch time to raise money.  Throughout the week there were competitions for the children to win a whole host of prizes.  The Kings Ash School Council took a huge role in organising and supporting the day and counting the money raised.   The Head Boy and Head Girl had the task of choosing the best dressed winners from both KS1 and KS2 and the winners were Brooklyn and Harry.  Throughout all the exciting events the children from Kings Ash Academy raised an enormous £320 to contribute to Children in Need.  The staff at Kings Ash Academy would particularly like to thank Morrisons, Sainsburys, Co-op and McDonald’s for their fantastic support and generosity.
