The weather wasn’t all it could have been when some Year 4 children went on a residential trip to Slapton recently. Soggy but enjoyable best summed it up.
We stayed at Start Bay Centre, a converted old school situated above the village which is part of the Slapton Field Studies Centre.
Whilst there we took part in various activities including, Team Building, Orienteering, Rock Scrambling, a night walk and craft lessons. Mrs Fenner’s legendary Quiz Night was as controversial as ever but harmony was soon restored when Hot Chocolate and cookies appeared.
Everyone got involved and all seemed to have a great time. Our thanks go to all staff and instructors at the centre.
